A few fixes have been released in RC2a, specifically:
- Fixed golden "0" tribe tag appended to hosts of listen servers.
- Fixed Ruby crash message experienced by Vista users.

We've just released RC2 of the patch, so if you haven't updated yet, go do it! Among the changes are the following:
- An upgrade to the Ruby interpreter to version 1.9.0, and significant improvements to the interpreter interface (it will now properly process newlines, enabling use of just about any Ruby script).
- A basic error handler for Ruby, so errors aren't swallowed into the abyss.
- Support for dynamic in-memory modification of the native game code.
- The Ruby interpreter process dies properly when the game closes unexpectedly. No more issues with dozens of unused processes anymore.
- Server side support for DCE certificates. DCE certs are used to indicate current name (if the account has been renamed), current clan, and all clan membership. This is the game-server component of the browser/clan system.
- Client side support for handling DCE certificates. None of the UI or centralized system integration is planned for the RC2 release, but this is in anyway as part of bug testing the server side implementation.
- Early version of the anticheat framework.
- Minor modifications to the authentication server protocol. This will prevent any more bad RSA keys from being incorporated into accounts.

A small update...

An optional new update is available on the site for clients and servers.
It has been a while since our last update, but we are busy working on RC2, so hang tight!
Among the changes are the following:
- Moved news to new tab (to be added upon in later patches).
- Added training tab (from LAN mode).
- Fixed progress-bar on debrief load screen.
- Fixed mis-reported bot counts.
- Fixed (hopefully) issues with antivirus HTTP blocking.
- Fixed a number of bugs from previous additions.

A Among the changes are the following:
- Added listen server (non-dedicated) support.
- Fixed issues with non-functional client scripts.
- Added in-game IRC chat tab (still in testing).
- Fixed a variety of minor bugs.

If you run a server, you should update to the latest version.

A New Year, A New Start

As you can probably tell by now, our efforts have finally paid off.
With the new year comes the first release of our highly anticipated restoration patch.

This version restores your ability to play on your own unique account.
So go free, play to your heart's content!

Known Issues:
- The rubyintersect.dll process may remain open if the game crashes.
- Listen servers aren't currently fully supported.
- Running the game under WINE may have a few issues.
- Servers marked as favourites show up under all filters.
- We have yet to implement the auto-updater. This page will be updated.
